- What do I need versus What do I want?
- What fits my body and style now (not in the future via a diet or workout plan)?
- What's my budget?
- What pieces am I willing to invest in (formal wear, basic essentials i.e tees, tanks)?
Answering these questions honestly, will make the process of organizing and updating your closet much more easier and simple. You may also want to give away or throw out old pieces you've not worn for last 1.5 years or simply not worn from the start.

For footwear, Nordstrom, Charles David, Piperlime, and Zara USA have the best selection. H&M's accessories department is huge and has a wide variety to select from. JCrew, though pricy, has an amazing high quality-jewelry collection, one of my personal favorites great sales!. Kate Spade has lovely, feminine accessories too. Nordstrom's BP section has more affordable options as well. Zara, H&M, JCrew, Forever21, Macy's, Mango, are all great choices to find blouses and tops at. Zara, Gap, and Banana Republic have all the pants you need-denim, trousers, skinnies etc in petite, regular, and tall sizes. Anthropology, Piperlime, Shopbop, ASOS have the best skirts and dresses selection for all your day to evening obligations. Many ladies love H&M and Zara for coats and outerwear, but my other personal favorite is Urban Outffiters-good stuff!
