Whats a girl to do on a rainy Sunday afternoon and the old man really is snoring... gently? Let's get in the craft room and make a few cards using up some of those fabric squares I had given many moons ago. I used some batting just to give a little padding to the square, then cut out some frames on my diecutting machine they didn't take long to make, I had a bit of a production line going.
A few teddy ones, I think she will want these for herself lol. I bagged one up before I took the photo... doh!! anyway you can see what they look like bagged up.
I have left the inside blank although there is an insert stuck inside to write on. I was thinking of charging £1 each. I have lots more for her too and a few gift boxes with some chocolates in. I will make some covered notepads and pens and maybe some little sweetie bags. Then just the huge baking session the day before :-) I'm on refreshements.
If anyone has any simple suggestions on things I could make for around a pound I would be really grateful if you would share. We are fighting to keep the centre open and this will be a nice little fund raiser. Many thanks.
Roast Chicken is in the oven with the homemade stuffing and the veggies are ready prepped, there will be enough for Chicken Ding tomorrow and pie or curry on Tuesday, easy peasy!
Enjoy the rest of your day
Love
