NBC's most acclaimed comedy is on its way out. The Good Place, one of the very few broadcast series that receives any Emmy recognition whatsoever, will end with its fourth season in the 2019-20 TV season. Set in the afterlife, the comedy stars Kristen Bell, Ted Danson, Jameela Jamil, William Jackson Harper, Manny Jacinto, and D'Arcy Carden. Created by Michael Schur, the comedy was a surprise ratings success in its first season, and despite declining since then, it has remained one of NBC's top comedy performers. The show will run for 14 episodes for the final season, opposed to the traditional 13 episode runs like the first three seasons.
